The 7th Shandong International Foundry Industry Exhibition (2025) will be held in Qingdao on August 15th. 

Qingdao West Coast New Area, August 15-17, 2025—The 7th Shandong International Foundry Industry Exhibition (Shandong Foundry Exhibition), hosted by the Shandong Foundry Association and guided by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, will grandly open at the Qingdao World Expo City. Themed "Global Vision, Precise Positioning," this exhibition leverages Shandong's strengths in the foundry industry, benchmarks against cutting-edge international technologies, and focuses on high-end equipment, green materials, and intelligent processes, injecting new momentum into the industry's high-quality development.

Authoritative Guidance, Integrating Global Resources

Supported by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and other departments, the exhibition, covering an area exceeding 40,000 square meters, will attract over 600 leading companies from over 10 countries, including Germany and Japan, and over 20 provinces and cities in China. Exhibiting across the entire industry chain, including high-end castings, intelligent equipment, and environmentally friendly materials, over 30,000 professional visitors are expected. 

Industrial Clusters, Building a Northern Highland

The exhibition features a special "Shandong Foundry Industry Cluster Achievements Exhibition Area" to promote regional collaborative innovation.

The exhibition closely aligns with the "dual carbon" and intelligent manufacturing trends, showcasing four key areas:

High-end Castings: HSB Group's lightweight aluminum alloy cylinder block reduces weight by 30%, entering Tesla's supply chain;

Intelligent Equipment: Sand 3D printers enable "one-click molding" of complex structures, shortening development cycles by 70%;

Green Materials: Zero-emission sand processing systems reduce solid waste by over 200 tons annually;

Industrial Software: MAGMASOFT® simulation software reduces scrap rates by over 15%.

High-end Forums, Activating Industrial Collaboration

Twelve concurrent events were held, including the Global Casting Technology Summit and a New Energy Vehicle Castings Matchmaking Forum. German experts shared their low-carbon casting experiences, while domestic companies explored hydrogen energy storage tank technology. The organizing committee facilitated contracts worth over 230 million yuan through a smart system, with a die-casting company reaching a supply agreement with BYD for 500,000 sets of motor end covers. 

Looking to the Future, Reaching the Top of the Global Value Chain

The President of the Shandong Foundry Association stated that the exhibition will become a key platform for China's foundry industry to integrate into the global industrial chain. It will continue to promote the convergence of high-end technology, talent, and capital, and support the upgrading of "Made in Shandong."
